Somebody asked Why WinAMP 5?
Here is your answer..
3 help menu's instead of one tucked away near the double click close button ::sniff:: the humanity. Probably something like > winamp 2 + 3 help buttons = more help and WinAMP 5 Like FFS (pardon the language): Winamp 2.91  Ahh, with the new media library. Because of people loosing tracks with the F3 function from the playlist. RTFM. Winamp 3  All updated, looking spiffing and new with its snazzy self-explanitory interface allowing different skins to move the buttons around. Winamp 5  Ahh, in all it's glory. Where are the upgrades/p /#. =><|1| Ryan Geiss - You are still a god to me. |

Surely, for the sake of a well kept llama - the media library did not require +2 upgrades?
Also don't give it on the video window or player either. WinAMP is purely a 'plugin proprietry codec based video player' (when it plays video's for sake of stating the obvious). Quite literally, when the interpreter is installed for the requested video type (WMP9 tries to find these via windows update, as yet there is no 'spyware-i-know-the-videotype-and-filename-but-heres-your-codec' statistics reporter in winamp, unless you have made a clear precise click on an un-ticked 'report every computer keypress and mouse click or movement' hole). Seriously femme's and bleurk's this 5 idea sucks. TBH I couldn't give a flying sh*t if you have spent 3 years getting this one out. Bloatware, spyware, pc-fubar-ware, injunctionware, throttleware, bandwidthclogging pile of pooware. Forget it and finish 2 while the ARTISTS among us faff about with 3 and random button placements. RTFM and don't complain about 2.91's media library, remember your right click, /when/ in doubt use F3. |
