1). The only videos I encode into WMV are the promotional videos. I make all of these in Windows Movie Maker 2 which only exports WMVs. It does make much more sense to start with AVIs, which is why most programmes are converted directly from AVI to NSV.

2). There are hundreds of ISPs in our area, Freeserve is one of the cheapest. BUT, for the same price I can have NTL Broadband - hence the February 2004 date for broadcasting.
