A Wicked Cool Glitch - This is FUN, NOT BAD
If you use Winamp 5 and Milkdrop, set Milkdrop to run at your Monitor's Resolution in Desktop mode, now of course play some music, at least for me this made it appear as if I have a dynamically changing desktop, Milkdrop takes the size of the monitor, but doesnt remove my desktop icons or anything else pretaining to windows, so you have a desktop that is constantly moving and changing to the beat of the music, Like Dynamic Wallpaper, but MUCH MUCH cooler!!!
Put Winamp 5 in Bar Mode and dock it in your lower left or right corner, now you can surf the web, and surprise all your friends becuase of this Benefifically Cool Graphical Glitch, it will work for ever, so give it a try soon!! NOTES: dont press CTRL-P or F1 while its running, it will load the fullscreen help menu for Milkdrop, and at least in my case it wont go away, until you close winamp... All the other keys and bindings for Milkdrop also work while in this mode, so you can press the Spacebar while viewing the desktop to randomly change the preset! |

That's not a glitch, it's a feature.
Why do you think it's called desktop mode? ![]() btw you can do the same thing with avs too: open the editor, go to settings/display, check overlay mode and set desktop to color, minimize winamp: tadaa! |

Even better trick - Download MMD3 (it's plastered all over winamp.com), set Milkdrop to desktop, hiding icons, set your taskbar to auto-hide, put MMD3 into windowshade mode, and make it transluscent (auto-opaque if you want). You can Alt+Tab through windows, and Windows+M to minimize all and check out your wicked visualization. Best of all, you can open the little playlist in MMD3 and change songs without skipping a frame
