Gradius

Any fans 'round here? I just picked up Gradius Galaxies for my GBA the other day (yeah, I know it's been out for a long time now, but I was only just now able to pick up a copy). I love this game even though it's hard as hell.

My first taste of the series was Gradius III for the SNES, which I also absolutely love. Galaxies is very similar to III as far as gameplay goes... but the levels are completely different. The graphics are really great, too.

I've got the original Gradius, Gradius III, and now Gradius Galaxies. I've still got to get Gradius II, Gradius Gaiden, and Gradius IV. I should probably look for Scramble and Salamander, too.

Anybody else play any of the Gradius series?
