ok, something got messed with your filetype associations. this guide shows you what the proper settings for an *.m3u file would be. This guide is written for Win98.
Go to a folder. Click on view, folder options, then click on the file types tab scroll down until you see 'Winamp Playlist File' click on it, and hit edit. there will be several commands you can edit that are normally accessible through the right-click interface. ----------- Description of type: Winamp playlist file Content Type (MIME): audio/mpegurl Default Extension for Content Type: *.m3u NO QUICKVIEW NO ALWAYS SHOW EXT NO CONF OPEN AFTER DOWNLOAD Enqueue in Winamp { "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINAMP\WINAMP.EXE" /ADD "%1" NO DDE } Play in Winamp { "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINAMP\WINAMP.EXE" "%1" NO DDE } Add to Winamp's Bookmark List { "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINAMP\WINAMP.EXE" /BOOKMARK "%1" NO DDE } Open { "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINAMP\WINAMP.EXE" "%1" NO DDE } Hope that helps |
