Database error

when i try to get in the Media Library on winamp it says "Error intializing database!!!

" it has been doing this everyday for about a week.

What 3rd-party plugin(s) and/or skin(s) had you installed a week ago that might have borked your Media Library? Something like that must have caused this. It looks as if your ML database is screwed up now.

Close Winamp 5.x. Make sure that you SAVE any playlist files first, in a folder outside of Winamp because what I am about to ask you to do will wipe out all your Media Library data. This will probably solve your problem, but you will no longer have any items in your Media Library and you will have to re-add Media/items to your Media Library once again.

OK... close Winamp 5.x, then browse to your main Winamp folder on your hard drive. Completely delete your Winamp\Plugins\ml sub-folder. Everything within it will be lost, including all media and all playlists (which is why I told you to re-save your playlists somewhere else). Upon reopening Winamp 5, the Winamp\Plugins\ml sub-folder will have recreated itself and your error message should be gone.... that is UNTIL you once again begin using whatever 3rd-party plugin/skin that initially caused this to happen. If it happens again, then no longer use that "culprit" plugin/skin.
