CD burns, all looks fine, but no sound on playback??

I have WA pro, and just tried to burn my first CD. All seemed to go fine, the CD ejected and when I tried to play it, nothing ( apart from a very short blip of a song at the start ). However there are 17 tracks registered and I can skip through them, but nothing plays.

I have the sqr soft and dso plug-ins for killing gaps between tracks, which i have used. Not sure if this is the problem though.

Any help welcome, before I run out of CD's trying....
