Output-Routing Problem

I want to route the output of my winamp 5.01 to a different output as the standard of windows. So I opened the WaveOut und DirectSound Plugin and changed the output. But nothing changes, winamp uses the same output as before.

What file formats are you playing?

Could you also provide any more info that will help us to help you?
eg. System specs, Windows OS, DirectX, the 'different output', etc.

Note, only one Output plugin is active at once, ie. the currently highlighted one.
Config changes to Output plugins only take place after playback is restarted.

Now I found the problem. I mostly play wma-Files and my old wma-plugin doesn't use the output-plugin. Now I downloaded a new wma-plugin and now everything works, and I can route different winamp-instances to different output-channels of my soundcard.
Thanks for your try to help me!

Yeah, that's what I suspected . . . that it was WMA related.
