hardware requirements for sc_trans

What are the minimum hardware requirements for CPU to stream normally mp3s to server with sc_trans? The problem is in my hardware so I'd like to know how many MHzs it requires.

One more question: for example, sc_trans requires a minimum of 100 MHz CPU. So can I use a dual (SMP) system of two 50 MHZ cpus to use sc_trans? won't be there any problems?

The DSP requires "a reasonably fast (300Mhz or faster) PC".

Not sure about sc_trans, but I reckon it's similar.

Encoding can be CPU intensive.
