Php file downloads

Hi, I downloaded some php music files and I can't figure out how to convert them to mp3 so I can play them on winamp. What do I do?
Thanks

PHP is a server side scripting language. What I'd guess is the server you downloaded the files from had a PHP script that sent out the files, but the script didn't tell you what the type of files they were, so they appear as PHP files.

Just try to rename them to .mp3, and It'd be a fair guess that they'll play.

I'd like to meet a mad man who makes it all seem sane
To work out all these troubles and what there is to gain
