Opening Playlist Crashes Winamp5

I've got winamp5 and it was working great and everything until yesterday. I was using Winamp as normal when I left my PC and went to watch some TV, came back and tried to open the playlist window and it just caused winamp to crash. I've never had this problem before and nothing happened between the time I was using winamp fine and the time I left for 30 minutes or less. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

EDIT: Gah, nevermind, uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have fixed it; though i'll be sure to return and complain about it again

Same problem

Getting the same problem here.

Both from clicking on the button, and from the menu option.

Only with the modern skin (the classic skin works fine)

The error report has the following in it:
AppName: winamp.exe
AppVer: 5.0.0.0
ModName: gen_ff.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 00014c01

While WA5 is not running go to the Winamp folder (usually C:\Program Files\Winamp depending on where WA5 was installed). Try deleing the Studio.xnf file. That will reset Modern Skin options (window position, opacity level etc.) to defaults.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Same error occurs every time I try to go to the modern skin now.

File does not recreate itself.

Restoring the file allows me to go to the modern skin, but not open the playlist editor

Please post some system specs.

Windows Version?
CPU & Speed?
Memory?
DirectX version? (Start button > Run... > type DXDIAG > click OK > System tag)
Videocard type?
Any changes to your system prior to the problem, such as installing new software?
Did you install any third party Winamp plug-ins?

Windows XP service pack 1
Pentium M 1.3Ghz
256Mb
DirectX 9.0b
Video Card: GeForce4 420 Go

No changes to the system recently, except for moving a bundle of mp3's to a new location, clearing the library of physically dead files, and reloading them. Playlist then created by enqueing some files, and then opening the playlist to drop a couple I added by mistake.

Clean install of winamp.

Asz edit his (or her) post to say that an uninstall/reinstall of Winamp solved the problem. If that does not work try updating the display drivers. Your specs seem to be alright.
