Problem wih playing *.avi
Ok, winamp worked perfectly up until about a month or so ago. Now whenever I try to play certain .avi files, it won't work. It seems like any file with a frame rate less than 30 won't play. And anything with a frame rate higher than or at 30 will play. However, I do have one video files that is 15 frames per second that will play; but it is using a MS-MPEG4 V2 video compression thingy (don't know a whole lot about all this). And I also have on file that is 30 frames per second that will play (can't find anything special about it). Just about all the other video files on my computer seem to adhere to this rule. I do have the Divx codec installed. Any ideas?

Just to clarify a little, by "won't play", I mean there there'll be sound, but no picture.

Since you've already have Divx codec installed, those avi files may need Xvid codec. You may want to download GSoptto to check which video codec needed for your problematic avi files.
