Binding Winamp to Multimedia keyboard buttons

Howdy all! I have a microsoft natural multimedia keyboard, the one with the music control buttons in the upper center. They are currently bound to the functions of Media player, and I would prefer Winamp.

I can change the button association through the keyboard utility program, but can't get play to play, that sort of thing.

Has anyone done this and give me a hint?
