using milkdrop and winamp to D.J.
Alright so this weekend my bro is getting married and at his wedding reception he is having a dance, i had milkdrop running on my PC yesterday and i told him that would be awesome to project that during the dance, so now i gotta figure out how, so a couple of questions, (these may be milkdrop specific, not sure) WOuld there be any way to have do visualizations just off the line in on? that way i wouldne't have to rip all the songs to my pc... If not i just on making them high quality mp3 and using the line out and running it throug a mixer and all that good crap, i think it would sound ok (tell me if i am wrong) I don't think i ma forgetting anything... if anyone has any tips for this sort of thing... share em eh. Oh and btw kudos to geiss for his amazing visulations
Thanks |

There are lots of line-in plugins availiable.
http://winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=84040 Cool tip - use Milkdrop in desktop mode and set it to remove your icons. Use MMD3 winshade locked to the top, and auto-hide the taskbar. Enable transparencies in MMD3 if you dare (warning, CPU/GFX-usage galore!). You can use the playlist editor built into MMD3 (this all assumes you don't like the one in MMD3 / it's too slow). |
