where does out_ds 2.2.8 store its settings?

Version 2.2.6 (and older) stored settings in winamp.ini, but the new version doesen't seem to use winamp.ini anymore.

Thats a problem for me because i want to set these settings from another program.

Thanks,
Peter

From the Troubleshooters sticky:

winamp.ini, studio.xnf, gen_ml.ini, reg entries, backups etc
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=158332

Settings for in_midi, in_vorbis and out_ds plugins are stored in the registry @
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Winamp

This change took place approximately around v2.81 or 2.90

Ok, thanks very much for the answer!

Is there any way to get the old behaviour back ?

I have 2 versions of winamp on my computer with different setup. One for party with crossfading, limiter and so, and one for "normal" playback. And I have the same 2 versions on my laptop as well.

As far as I can see this means that I can not do this anymore, and that i have to change the out_ds parameters every time I use the other version.

Or am I missing something ?

Thanks,
Peter

Yeah. This will hopefully be fixed for Winamp 5.02 :]
(settings will be stored in winamp.ini again)
