Yup, added the rest of the beta 1 themes.
Last time I got tired of copying display groups after a while and so I skipped the themes that didn't immediately appeal to me. Now it's no longer most but indeed all of the themes from this thread (except the ones that got included with 5.0 without any modification). Fuck this place. |

after some trying I found the reason

Everything works fine over here. However when I added the separate XMLs I'd collected for the official pack Winamp crashed. So there seems to be some limit as to how many themes Winamp can handle. If it crashes go to Winamp\plugins\ColorThemes\Winamp Modern, open the XML(s) in notepad and delete the themes you don't like anyway. Fuck this place. yup... removing the additional themes that come with winamp improved its performance (and reduced memory load), atm I have my 2 skins (modified slightly from the versions posted here) and the default skin...

 I don't think I'll do another update of this collection because adding more themes would even increase the risk of Winamp crashing. Time to start Collection Vol. II I'd say. Fuck this place. |

Well IT all depends on taste I LOVE MY BLACK AND LIME GREEN ONE but others might not like it. I would also (maybe in the future I will make one) a hot pink and black color theme. But thats more of the colors of a skater (skateboarder) so others might hate it.

The 192 themes ran fine with 5.01 on my machine. They crash the new Winamp 5.02 however.

instead of installing them in the fashion we have been would it still be possible to copy and paste them into the xml and NOT have 5.02 crash?
also I think it could be a sdk change that's causing the theme crash to happen ...not sure as I haven't looked yet but it's just a thought <edit>welcome to the new brave world of gen_ff.dll crashes  </edit>

if you are getting random crashes in 5.02 try running Forum Themes Collection.xml through the xml validator that's in both Frontpage XP and 2003 ... I have all 192+ original color themes running in 5.02
