Winamp not recognizing or playing WMA

I have the newest version of winamp and it wont play any of my wma files, they will show up in the playlist but wont play. I have windows XP. the files willplay in windows media player though. thanks ahead

As Winamp is definitely able to play WMA, I have 2 ideas about why your's aren't played:

1. Your WMAs are corrupted or have been encoded incorrectly.

2. You try to play back WMAs that are DRM protected, but your firewall blocks internet connections for Winamp and thus, the necessaray license cannot be issued.

Thanks, they were corrupt. I converted them again and it is working fine now
