A creative alternative?

I really need a new sound card but i have put off purchasing one because I don't want to buy a Audigy.

Everyone i talk to about this says, "Don't be a little bitch, just go buy an Audigy." And I say, "hell no!"

Does anyone else understand this frustration? I want a sound card with RCA output so i can plug it directly into my receiver. It should have low noise (my current one hisses like no other). I have looked into a professional sound card I was looking here at expensive cards but i really don't what other options are available.

I want something that will maximize the audio quality so that i have the best sound when i gets to my stereo. What sort of cards the audiophiles here use? What are your suggestions?

....Is the Creative Extigy.

Comes with a remote control. I have one, and pawns ass.
