Tried searching forums and nothing....

I have searched the forums and have yet to see anyone with my exact problem.

I was using winamp 5 for some time now and had no problems with it. Today I was fixing my resolution on my TV out. Once I tried to open winamp my resolution on my computer monitor went to 640 by 480 and stays like that until I close winamp then it goes back to normal. I then switched my settings back to normal thinkint it would stop but it did not. Winamp is the only noticeable program that does that. If I decided to listen to music I have to manually change my resolution. Again it only happens with winamp.

Are you using WinXP?...

1. right-click on the shortcut for Winamp 5
2. select Properties
3. select Compatibility tab
4. make sure 'Run in 640x480 screen resolution' or other Compatibility settings have not been selected
