What's your Windows OS ?
Have you checked the properties of your shortcut to Winamp.exe and made sure the command line is just "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" without any switches or %1 after it? Is Winamp properly associated with the M3U extension? Winamp 5.02 > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > File Types: Select M3U Checkmark "restore file associations at winamp startup" Close prefs, close & reopen Winamp. By default, when Winamp opens, it automatically reloads your last playlist. When Winamp is closed, it saves the current playlist to winamp.m3u in the Winamp dir. Make sure this file doesn't have the read-only attribute. In Windows Folder Options > File Types tab, locate & hi-lite M3U and make sure "Play in Winamp" is the default action, and the command line is: "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" "%1" Naturally, if Winamp is not installed to the default dir, then adjust the command line accordingly... |
