Question about Waveform Slider II plugin.

I don't know if this is the right place in the forum to ask this question but I'll try.
Browsing the Visualization plug-ins I found the Waveform Slider II plug-in and downloaded it. However I don't find a way to configure it. When I select it and choose Configure, nothing happens. When I start the plug-in it plays, but only full screen (in my opinion very nice btw)
Has anyone else tried this plug-in and is full screen indeed the only option ?
BTW, under the Plug-ins section I am told to visit the author's website to look for updates, but how can I find the author's website ? Weren't there in earlier days links to the authors of plugins and have they disappeared or am I wrong in this ?
