Hoobastank found out what to name their band after coming across a gas station in Germany that was named so...

My fave was always Chumbawamba - a monkey had typed it (even with the capital 'C' apparently).

I'd hire a monkey to do the same for me...

Now, I trust you implicitly Mr Chuckles, come up with my band's name....

According to the site, the person who named the band saw AC/DC on the back of a Sewing Machine and assumed it had to do with electricity - I took that to mean they didn't know what alternating/direct current were. It could have had something to do with a certain type of stich for all they knew.

There's nothing in stiching that's related to anything with electric currents as far as their specified names go, besides any electronically-powered equipment that are built for so...

How do I know? I tried looking up things that linked the two subject together, and later found A. I didn't find anything, and B. I'm a loser with no life...

Latin for 'the greatest amount of voice'

not bad for a band that had synths as their major instrument- ( not that midge ure sings bad)
