mic and shoutcast arent being friendly :(

When i press the talk button, the music volume lowers, the mic volume goes up, I talk - but shoutcast doesnt pick it up. I have been through all the settings for my soundcard. They are correct, and my mic works, so is it possible its a problem with shoutcast?
