UNIX Troubles
I have Tru 64 UNIX with an Alpha processor
( the more expensive version of solaris )and the shoutcast prog is for solaris. will it work on my UNIX comp, or if not what can i do to get it to work? Thanks for your time, -Vash EDIT- Darn, i thought i posted in Shoutcast tech probs... :| |

Tru64(formerly known as Digital UNIX, OSF/1) runs on Alpha processor and made by DEC(acquired by Compaq then HP).
Solaris runs on Sun Sparc and x86. Tru64 is NOT variant of Solaris. your only option is running linux(x86) binary on Linux/Alpha. (unless someone made linux(x86) binary emulator for Tru64) |
