how do i let people listen to me

i have tryed everything and can not get it where people can listen .i am broadcasting but cant find a way for people to connect.

Link using this format: http://yourIP:yourPORT/listen.pls

Replace "yourIP" with your IP (which you can find here) and "yourPORT" with your portbase as defined by your DNAS (server) config file. The default is 8000.

If you have a dynamic IP, you can get a static name at www.no-ip.com.

I'm having the same problem, now. I did what was stated above, but still, no one can listen.

Are you hosting the DNAS Server on your home machine or is a hosting company?

Try doing this.

1. Start SHOUTcast DNAS server and make sure all is in order.

2. In your WinAmp DSP Plug-In on "Output" tab in "Output configuration" the ip addrss is 24.42.106.151

3. Make sure that port # 8000 is in the port # box.

4. Your listen link should be http://24.42.106.151:8000/listen.pls if all systems are a go.

5. Make sure that you are on "Output 1" and once everything is in order you should see the bytes streaming. in the "status".
