Change ".mid" association

How do I get Winamp to give up ".mid" so that I can re-asign this file-type to voyetra, but still leave other files types (especially mp3 and audio CDs with Winamp)? I use Voyetra for composing music, and I need midi files to open automatically in it (when you click on them)- instead of winamp.

Go to Prefs > File Types and un-highlight the file types you want to release. (MID and MIDI ??)

Re-establish these file types with your Voyetra prog.
