MP3 ripping problems

Just decided to upgrade to winamp Pro 5.02 and finished installing onto my Win XP Pro system. Everything seems to work fine. But when I trieed to rip a CD to mP3, the file was not written to the hard disk. A new folder was created (matching the album name etc..) but there were no files.

I tried to unistall and installing back w/o any change.

Any idea what is going on !!!

Does this happen with every Audio CD,
or just the one?
If just this one, then what is the album title?
Does it include any irregular characters,
or any periods (fullstops) at the end of the album name?
eg. "Incubus - A crow left of the murder..."

If so, right click the title, select "edit cd info"
and remove the periods from the end.

Apart from that, if there's no error messages, then I'm not entirely sure.

Start by answering the questions in my first post.

In jrebaby's case...
go to: Prefs > CD Ripping > Output File Settings
and make sure you've specified both a valid destination folder and file naming convention.

eg.

D:\Music

<Artist>\<Album>\## - <Title>

Make sure you are using the most current version of Winamp5 and the update pack.

Eh, Egg?
