Crash - adding *.MID-files to playlist

Hi,

I am using the WinAMP 5.0 final and since WinAMP 5.0 RC 666 I got crashes during adding MIDI (*.MID) files to the playlist. Following steps I did:

1. Manage playlist button
2. New playlist entry
3. Add folder button
4. Choose the directory with the *.mid files

WinAMP crashes.

The same problem I got as I took the add file function of WinAMP. It crashes, too.

May be you know an answer. Thanks.

I too have the same problem. I had to move all the midi files to a seperate folder outside of my music folder to be able to add all of my music. Suggestions?

Maybe provide a link to one of these MIDI files?
Or, if it's less than 100k, zip it up and attach one here.

Also provide system specs in reply
(including: soundcard, windows os & DirectX)

Plus confirmation of a clean install of Winamp 5.02 Full, with no 3rd-party plugins.
