Playlist selection disappears

If I select a bunch of tracks on my playlist in Winamp 5.02 and drag them up or down the list, when I let go my selection disappears and only the track under the cursor remains highlighted.

In Winamp 2 I could drag a selection somewhere, let go and add another few tracks to the selection, now I have reselect the entire selection.

Is this a bug or a feature?
