Using SHOUTcast by FREESCO

Hello there,

Can a moderator please response?

I am a FREESCO (www.freesco.org) user and use the shoutcast server sc_serv_x86_linux_libc5. This a older version of shoutcast, but the new version doesn’t work with my kernel. My question is can I make a installscript for this version and post it on the freesco-forum so that other users can run the shoutcast server as well.

In the installscript I already put the license I founded with the server. And ask if the user agrees with the license. Could you let me hear if I can put it on the forum?

Kind regards,

Jackthe

From the license:

So, no. You can distribute your install script on it's own and have the users download the server from the proper official location, but they cannot be packaged or distributed together and the DNAS must come from an official source.
