Need immediate help with connecting (Can't get radio up)
I need to get a broadcast running by tomorrow at 8 o'clock CentralStandard.
I have a D-Link D-704P Router with the ports 8000 and 8001 opened. My Ip at whatismyip is inconsistant (When I reboot it changes) and CanTheyGetIn shows that they can not in fact get in becuase the connection timed out, and since I tested with my firewall(McAfee) turned off and the ports opened on my Router I assume it was caused by a proxy. my Event log: <03/14/04@02:23:47> [SHOUTcast] DNAS/win32 v1.9.2 (Nov 25 2002) starting up... <03/14/04@02:23:47> [main] loaded config from C:\Program Files\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.ini <03/14/04@02:23:47> [main] initializing (usermax:8 portbase:8000)... <03/14/04@02:23:47> [main] No ban file found (sc_serv.ban) <03/14/04@02:23:47> [main] No rip file found (sc_serv.rip) <03/14/04@02:23:47> [main] opening source socket <03/14/04@02:23:48> [main] source thread starting <03/14/04@02:23:48> [main] opening client socket <03/14/04@02:23:48> [main] Client Stream thread [0] starting <03/14/04@02:23:48> [main] client main thread starting <03/14/04@02:23:48> [source] listening for connection on port 8001 <03/14/04@02:25:12> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1 <03/14/04@02:25:12> [source] icy-name:Unnamed Server ; icy-genre: <03/14/04@02:25:12> [source] icy-pub:0 ; icy-br:24 ; icy-url:http://www.shoutcast.com <03/14/04@02:25:12> [source] icy-irc:#shoutcast ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:N/A <03/14/04@02:32:32> [source] source dropped connection. disconnecting. <03/14/04@02:33:25> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1 <03/14/04@02:33:25> [source] icy-name:Unnamed Server ; icy-genre: <03/14/04@02:33:25> [source] icy-pub:0 ; icy-br:24 ; icy-url:http://www.shoutcast.com <03/14/04@02:33:25> [source] icy-irc:#shoutcast ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:N/A In the Output Configuration I put Address: localhost Port: 8000 Encoder[1] If you can give me any information as to how to get it running (it starts and I can hear from 127.0.0.1) or what address to use if I've been doing it wrong, it would be greatly appreciated. |

It shows you as connected. Please be sure you are only playing .mp3 files in the WinAmp DSP.
Please post a link to the DNAS so I may test it. yeah, i'm back. |

well thats probably because I went to work and shut it off when you checked. Try brad_sk88@hotmail.com on messenger and well do an instant check when we're both on. I'm not gonna be doing another tonight, it's too late for it now.

I am sorry, I don't use MSN Messenger, and my OEM version of XP Home doesn't include Windows Messenger, so maybe someone will be able to further assist you.
