Some skins don't work?

I just downloaded the newest version of Winamp, and wanted a fancy skin for it.
At first I thought there was a problem with the program, but after downloading about 20 skins, I noticed that some of them load perfectly, and others act like they're still on the classic design.
They're all in the same Winamp Skins folder, so there's no reason for them to not work. Some of the examples are:
Dawn of the Dead
M3
Ocrana
Dominator
Witchcraft
GVG750_Superbike
Official Linkin Park
...and the list goes on.

What's up with this?

The more scripts are used in a skin, the more change there is compatebility will be broken at future releases on the Winamp client.

All skins worked in Winamp 5.00, but each time we have a new release, some skins get outdated and need to be fixed by their creators. You can try emailing them.

I have just gone through all the modern skins, and there are 15 out of 361 that don't work (anymore). They have been unpublished and the authors have been notified if the automatic e-mails work.
None of the above skins are among them, they all work.

Note for Mr. Jones: Could you move this thread to the right forum, please?
Thank you.
