Buffer Every 5 Seconds

I am currently running a server for my radio station. Approximently every 5 seconds, it would buffer. I am running it on a Cable Modem, and broadcasting at about 40kbps.

Can Anyone Please Help?

Make sure that you have enough bandwidth to handle your bitrate and listener capacity. Use this listener calculator and this bandwidth calculator to do so.

Also, consider getting a third party DNAS host.

Yes, Semetic here is my Server Manager for our radio...I know it CAN'T be the DJs fault, that just wouldn't make sense, and thus everytime one DJs it buffers madly.. I've even tried changing what bitrate on the encoder I DJ at. Please Help us!

Do the remote DJs have enough upload to source the DNAS?

Does the DNAS have enough upload to serve the connected listeners?
