My book idea
I have an idea for getting my book published. I am not trying to sell the book here. I am trying to find out how to get my computer to publish it. The latest idea that I have is to read it into the computer, or have my wife read it into the computer.
I would then burn the file unto CDs and sell the CDs. Will Winamp do this. What all do I need to add to a basic computer set up with HP cd-writer with 48X to make this thing work? Sincerely Charlie Gill II charliegill@reno.com

what are you trying to do? like an audio tape thing of the book? i am assuming that you already have it typed into the computer since it is a book.
When you take a hand and chop the fingers off... what do u get? That would be the knub. |

haha.. use MS text to speech API
![]() he wants to sell his book as a book-on-tape, except as a book-on-CD. not too hard, but i don't recomend winamp for burning. use real burning software like Nero, or Easy CD Creator even (ick). if you have multiple recorders, then nero, at least, will let you use them both at once. might work well for recording though: use the diskwriter output plugin with a line input. i.e., setup the diskwriter, then play URL > "linein://" (w/o quotes), press play, and start talking. ~WHEREamI |

If you've got Nero I'd use Nero Wave Editor for recording, that way you won't have to start all over once you misread a word.
