What is signal processing studio DSP?

Could someone explain to me what this is?

What AVS is to visuals, NSPS-DSP is to DSP/Effects. Basically you can create your own DSP/Effects. There are some presets that you can try out...

Preferences > Plug-ins > DSP/Effects > highlight 'Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio DSP' > click Configure button > click Load button & load a preset of choice > fool around with the sliders to change effect levels (while playing a music file)
