Problem with wma plugin in WA5.03

Hi all,

I have a problem with wma plugin in wa 5.03.
When i dubble click on a wma file wa 5.03 just frezes up for about 15-20 seconds.
Whats up with this ?
When i reinstall wa 5.02 (with wma plugin v1.13)
all is good.
I just worked around this problem for now by just install wa 5.03 and override the wma plugin with the old version (v1.13)
Maybe the wma plugin is to experimental ?
Guys keep up the good work !
WA 5 ROX !

I get a similar problem. I think it needs to acquire the licence every time the file is played. Very sloppy. Couldn't it just be saved locally?

Can't reproduce any of these problems.
What version of Windows Media Player is installed?
Are the WMA9 codecs installed?
What version # is wmvcore.dll (in %system% dir)?

Current version is 9.0.0.2980.

You can obtain this by installing Windows Media Player 9 from here

or

Run the redistribution package from here to only install the necessary codecs.

Hi DJ Egg,

Windows media player # : 9.00.00.3075
and with search i cant find wmvcore.dll.
But whats the difference between in_wma.dll v1.13 and v2.00?
Version 1.13 works like a charm.

We are MotherFuckers just because your thread got lost among all the others threads? All you had to do was "bump" your thread. Forum members volunteer their time to provide tech support. Try showing some respect. I was going to give you some help. But, you will not get any with that kind of a attitude.
