how do i get my station listed on the site and other ways t advertise

hmmm,
By 'site' - I assume you mean the shoutcast.com directory? To do this, make sure you have the 'List on shoutcast.com directory' option checked and also make sure that your DNAS is telling you that yp.shoutcast.com added you.
That's all there is to it

What specifically do you mean by other ways to advert? For example our station uses Plugs on other streams to get out listener counts up. If you know other's that are doing this, record a few Plugs and ask them to play them in thier stream and vice-versa for them as well. Also, add your signature to your e-mail's, this is a great way to get the message out. Also, add a signature line to your WinAmp Message Board profile. Hope this helps!
