I think i have the fix for you. I too had the same problem that your having and some of the things didn't work when they told me what to do. Note, this is only for people behind Linksys routers.
Follow the first steps that DJ Mastermind gave you which were -- First go to Start>Run> type "command" (No quotes) Afterwards type in "ipconfig" (No quotes) Copy down the address given to you in the IP Address section. Go to your net browser and type "192.168.1.1" (No quotes and this should be default unless you've changed it then put in what you've changed it to.) After this just put in admin in the password area, nothing else.-- I'm assuming that you don't see what they tell you to look for and neither did i so i had to click around myself until i finally found something. Go to Application & Gaming then go to Port Range Forwarding. This is where you would continue their suggestions which were to put in 8000 in start and 8001 in finish. Under Protocol put in TCP, in IP Address put in 100 and then finally click Enabled. Just save and then try again. i hope this works for you guys =/ |
