Internet TV: "Error Opening Video Output"

"Error Opening Video Output"

This is the error I get when I try to connect to any Internet TV station. I looked around in the forum for this specific problem and couldnt find it so if this is a duplicate, I apologize.

I get the same error whether I use the free version of Winamp or the pay version.

When I try to connect to a TV station, the buffer flies from 0% to 100% and then I immediately get that error.

ATI Radeon 7500 video
Direct X 9
Winamp 5.0

Anything else you need to know about my system I will tell you. Thanks in advance..............

Try updating to the latest version, first.

Pro or Full(free) wouldn't matter since the only thing different about them is that Pro allows you to rip and burn CDs. Nothing with video.

Thanks for answering.

I'm still having the same problem after upgrading from 5.0 to 5.03. Any other ideas??

Do you have any 3rd party Winamp plug-ins (especially any vid plug-ins)?

Maybe the following DirectSound config tweaks
