Visualization issue "Input Signal out of Range"

This seems to be a problem with my monitor or something, but for a while I could fullscreen visualizations and they'd work, if not look a bit weird. but now when I try to fullscreen it I get a bunch of weird lines across the screen and a big box saying "INPUT SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE" until I click and the visualization goes back to normal mode. How can I fix this?

You are probably trying to run the visuals at full screen in a resolution or refresh rate not compatabile with your monitor.

What vis are you using?
