Rebroadcast through another server
My current bandwidth at home allows only 3-5 simultaneous connections for listeners at 24K.
I do have a rented server which is at a very far away location. Is there a way for me to broadcast from home, have the broadcast go to my bigger server with huge bandwidth, and then people listen from there? |

Set your DSP to broadcast to that server's IP, which is the one it uses for the DNAS.
yeah, i'm back. |

I am sorry, I am kind of new at this, I just set up everything yesterday. It works great when I am broadcasting from my own home computer.
when you say "Set your DSP to broadcast to that server's IP, which is the one it uses for the DNAS", you mean the Shoutcast source DSP in Winamp right? But that other server does not have Shoutcast server installed - is that ok? |

Yes, I mean the source.
The other computer MUST be running DNAS to be usable. yeah, i'm back. |

IN that case, it looks like I can't use the server to re-broadcast or act as a relay.
Oh Well, I'll have to find someone who has a server that runs DNAS. Chandresh |

If you have a dedicated server or even a vps you can just install DNAS and broadcast to it, or use it as a relay
