All authority must be questioned, or else it will get out of control. This is one of the main points of a number of documents, including the US constitution, of which I suppose you approve?

These soldiers were acting in our names. Thousands of atrocities such as those you mention happen every god-damned day - look at the DRC for just a taste. Nobody ever said that the things you mention were anything other than dreaful - but it wasn't in my name.

We're hardly helping Iraq - or ourselves - by invading and showing that our idea of justice is exactly the same as that of those we ousted, are we?
