5.1 Surround help ( Winamp)

It seems that Winamp 5.03 does not work with 6 speaker 5.1 surround sound.
windows media player wors well but win amp only seems to work on 2 speaker
How can i fix this ?
ive looked in preferences and there dont seem to be an option to turn on 5.1 surround

Please help its ruining my music experence
