Power option

Hi, i had set up my pc to close the monitor after 15 mins of inactivity. My tv is plugged on my graphic card (i have a tv out) and when i open winamp and put the video window on my tv and watch a movie, my pc is closing my monitor (and put my tv in standby mode too). SO is there a way, an option, a plugin, that disable this feature if im watching movie with winamp?

there is an option 'disable windows screensaver when playing video'
(general prefs -> video)
but i don't know if that works with standby and turn off monitor as well...
