Hi,
My winamp was playing well till a couple of days back. Now if I press the play button, it says "DirectX 5+ Not Found".Iam working on a NT 4.0 machine. I had DirectX 6 on my machine. I tried reinstalling DirectX 6. But the problem continues to occur. Can anyone suggest a solution for this problem. Regards, Krishna |

I think Internet Expolrer 4+ installs DX 6+.
I use W2k with IE 5.0, there runs all O.K. |

Hi Krishna
Have you mistakenly selected Direct Sound as the Output Plug-in ? If so, then goto "Options -> Preferences -> Plug-ins -> Output" and re-select Nullsoft Wave-Out [simply by single clicking on it]. This is assuming that you're only experiencing audio problems and not visual related ones ?!?!
