Is there any reason to really upgrade to Winamp 5 other than having the latest? Does this plugin work only with version 5?

I find this works best as I need to use the computer to do everything from Compressing to Encoding and handing the net connection. So it's working hard. Also the SAM dsp encoder doesn't like Winamp 5. I've also found Winamp5 likes to use a bit more resourses for the flashy skins----to me this is not needed as the computer is a work horse not a show pony.

Off board compression or a dedicated rack unit costing loads of cash is just not justifiable as a net caster. But maybe down the track
