bad mpeg info

one of my mp3s is showing the info i have attached. i have never seen a 448kbit. the mp3 is about 4:29 and it shows it's 1:55 in the playlist. and it's actually a 192kbit mp3. is there something wrong with this mp3? anybody ever heard of this before?

No, nothing like that.....Seems I had different length listings for something that I pitched due to lack of codec.

the song plays fine. but it shows incorrect info in the playlist like length and bit rate. in the main window it shows correct info.

i was just wondering if other people have had the same strange problem that i have with that one song. the song is Electrical Storm(Ulrick mix) from U2.

Oh, those are just silly little bits in the MPEG headers that nobody cares about. If it plays fine, then it is fine.

Its a problem of the encoder uset to generate the Mp3 file or some sound editior.
That info cames in the mp3 header, the encoder puts it there,a dn if puts it wrong your player will believe what it reads.

I've got a utility somewhere called vbrfix which reads all of the mp3 then regenerates the header (bitrate and length) based on what's actually in the file. It works on both VBR and CBR mp3s but I can't find a link for it at the moment, but I do have it somewhere on my PC if I can find it.
