HP sponsors Williams F1. IBM sponsors tennis at Wimbledon. Samsung sponsors the Olympics. Canon and Benqueue sponsor UEFA Soccer. The INQUIRER sponsors Sump Filling.

There's a lot of money in this noisy sport and presumably computer firms want to give the impression their products "go faster". µ

That's a lot of cash.
