Yeah. Mine was converted today.
I guess the google competition forced their hand?

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

I have an 80 gig HD and a pop3 email account.

I only have one web-based e-mail, through myway.com, and I only use that for signing up for forums and other things that require e-mail to which I don't want to give my home e-mail.

Hotmail, 2MB. YEAH!

Microsoft as usual won't listen to anyone else and refuse to realise that 2MB stopped being a reasonable amount about a decade ago

Yeah, plus if the server actually ever runs out of space, there's always that 250 GB hard drive waiting for me at Fry's...

I got my yahoo mail before the 6mb(and before the 2mb) so I experienced the 2mb grow and was happy, then thi 6mb grow, then laughed at my friends with the 4mb boxes.... now I have 100 mb....(I've never gone over 2mb usage on the mailbox for more than 24 hours)

And On that day, the Lords of the land said unto their Master Architect, "The temple you have made to the gods of Wasabi and Maki has brought us no great prosperity" and they sent out him into the lands.

As he traveled to a far off land, he found he wasn't traveling alone, but that he had gained companions, and when they found their new land, they started work on a new temple, one that would be OPEN to all who wanted to worship.

I use YahooPOPs, so I don't really care about the increase space.. Just more room for spam.

Hmm... very cool.

I've been a yahoo mail user since 1999 (and still have my original account ), so this is great. Six megs yesterday, a hundred today. Not bad. I'd been keeping my main account inbox at about 49% usage for the past couple months, and that just dropped to 3%. Plus, I've got a secondary yahoo account that I've had for a couple years, along with two hotmail accounts that I hardly use except for the screennames. Total, I've got 204 megs between those four accounts.

hotmail now sucks even more.

there is this russian email service that offers unlimited space, at least they claim to, basically they give you 25MB more each time you ran out.

most people dont realize that any email can be registered as a .net passport.

you have to laugh when someone thinks their email@passport.net passport is sooo cool because its not a hotmail one...

"Who will ever need more than 53KB of RAM?"

My account was also upgraded yesterday or today. Also, message size can be up to 10 MB, but I'm not sure what the individual attachment size is limited to.

Bah...

My Yahoo account was bouncing because of this group that would send alot of Asian porno pictures daily that would go over the 4MB limit...I signed up for another client that had 100MB, and just soon after going through that, I find out that Yahoo ups their mailbox limit to 100MB too...Godammit...

Err...Nevermind anything about what I said about porn...

Interestingly, my yahoo UK email account has had it's limit raised from 6 to 100 meg, but my Swedish one is only six meg still... Just as my US email account doesn't allow free POP access - I think they are playing with different markets to find the best business model....

I had 6MB because my account is very old and they used to give 6MB accounts before they cut it down to 4MB (but existing users kept the size that they had)

See, I have 2 GMail accounts, plus 2 Yahoo's, a www.valornet.com webmail, and a unsigned-online.com email.
And
10 GMail invites= 10 GB potential storage.
+
2 Gmail accounts=2 GB storage
valornet = 10 MB storage
unsigned-online.com= unlimited (so they say). I assume 50 MB.
2 yahoo's= 200 mb storage.

Total storage= 12,260 MB

lmao. Plus 29 GB in my comp, if worse got worser

yeah, i'm back.

I consider myself a porn freak, but it looks like I'm still way behind as a novice...

You'd be surprised how much of it is related to my radio station though. You know I've had bands email me 10 songs off their CD's? And not to my gmail either, to my 10 mb accounts

yeah, i'm back.
