Stupid WinAmp keeps skipping!! Make it stop!! It never did this before, and I have a decent processor, and everything's configured to "high priority" or whatnot.
HEEEEEEEELP!!

Prefs -> Options: Try "normal" priority instead ?!?

Prefs -> Output -> WaveOut : try priority "above normal"

More tips:

Maximize also all buffers settings in options/preferences/plugins/Output/Nullsoft Waveout/configure. All cursors full right!
Once, my Winamp began to skip without changing these settings. I discovered that it was my new antivirus! I had to uncheck "scan all files" or "scan when opened, moved, changed" in its automatic protection options, because it scanned all the songs I played.
